We provide a range of confidential counselling, mediation and family support services free of charge. We also offer a Child Contact Centre where parents can meet children they no longer live with. Please get in touch if you think we can help you or someone you know.

Our vision is for positive and respectful relationships to be at the heart of our community.

Relationships Scotland Orkney will be closed from 3pm on Friday 20 December 2024 until 9am on Monday 6 January 2025.
Calls and emails will not be monitored during this time.

Our Child Contact Centre will be open for pre-booked families on Saturday 21 and Saturday 28 December, and on those days staff can be contacted on 07436 563230.

We are aware that, as well as being a time of joy for many families, this time of year can be difficult and lonely for others.
Please see our Advice and Resources page for details of local and national support organisations.

what we do

COUNSELLING

We provide free and confidential counselling for individuals and couples, and specialist counselling for young people and for alcohol/drug issues. For younger children we offer play and talking therapies.

MEDIATION

Separated parents can meet with a skilled mediator in a safe and confidential space to help them make arrangements for their children. This process can also be helpful for other family and workplace relationships.

SUPPORT

We provide a Child Contact Centre where parents can meet with children they no longer live with; and offer support for individuals and families to help with a range of issues including relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression, parenting challenges and substance misuse.

ADVICE AND RESOURCES

We have lots of practical advice, self-help tools and other useful resources. Please contact us if you can’t find what you are looking for.
